If you're geeky enough to need more memory in your cell phone than most people have in their desktops, Samsung has just the product for you.
Samsung debuts 2GB memory card for mobile phones
BEIJING, April 20 (Xinhuanet) -- Samsung Electronics Wednesday announced that it has developed a 2 GB MultiMediaCard (MMCmicro card) for use in mobile phones.
The card is about the size of a postage stamp (12mmx14mmx1.1mm), and combines four 4Gbit NAND flash devices. According to Samsung, the card can store 12 hours of mobile video and is fast enough to download three hours of it in under two minutes. An adapter allows the card to be plugged into any multimedia card slot. The card can read at 10MB per second and write at 7MB per second.
It will hit the streets at about 50 bucks and will show up free after rebate a few weeks later. Welcome to the 21st century.

Cool. Now, if only someone would build a media player with 20 or 30 of these in there.
I'd love to have a 60 Gb iPod nano
